Description
About the Campaign
Darden Copeland is a Democrat running for Congress in Tennessee's newly redrawn 7th Congressional District. Position Overview
The Call Time Manager sits with the candidate daily and makes call time productive. With polling showing a 5-point race, this campaign must raise at a competitive-seat pace — and call time is the engine of that budget. Responsibilities
- Staff the candidate during daily call time; keep sessions on schedule and on target
- Research donors and prepare accurate, well-prioritized call sheets
- Track asks, pledges, and commitments in NGP; manage the follow-up pipeline until contributions are received
- Draft follow-up emails, texts, and thank-you notes on behalf of the candidate
- Maintain and clean donor data; flag lapsed donors and upgrade opportunities to the Finance Director
- Support finance events and assist the Finance Director on ad hoc projects
Qualifications
- At least one cycle of finance or call time experience, or comparable fundraising/development experience
- Proficiency with NGP or a similar donor CRM
- Extreme attention to detail and comfort holding a candidate to a schedule
- Discretion with sensitive donor information
- Ability to work the candidate's schedule, including early mornings, nights, and weekends
Compensation & Details
