PACCC MISSION STATEMENT (Adopted by PACCC Board, March 19, 1992)
Palo Alto Community Child Care is an advocate for and a provider of comprehensive child care and closely related services for families living or working in Palo Alto and surrounding communities. PACCC is a nonprofit corporation which strives to develop broad based community support to meet the needs of families at all economic levels.
Company History
PACCC opened its doors in 1974 with support from the City of Palo Alto and numerous volunteers. Today PACCC serves more than 800 children daily through 17 infant, toddler, preschool and school-age centers located throughout Palo Alto. PACCC's high staff:child ratios exceed state licensing requirements. Most PACCC centers have earned National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) or National School Age Care Alliance (NSACA) accreditation. Others are in the accreditation process.
