What We’re Looking For:

  • You’re happiest when identifying, improving, and developing technology solutions that drive strategic goals in a growing company helping nonprofit organizations thrive 
  • Your strong technical abilities and close attention to detail has aided you in locating the necessary missing piece of code or gaps in marketing funnels
  • Through analytical and creative-thinking skills, you’ve found solutions to some of the stickiest and most complex puzzles
  • Your willingness to be nimble has allowed you to become proficient in all things web development in addition to maintaining the soft skills necessary to work collaboratively with a team

We’re looking for 25-30 hours per week with the potential to go full time. 

Working hours: Primarily East Coast Time

Hourly rate is $26-$31. The option for benefits is included.

As the Web Developer at Nonprofit Leadership Lab, you’ll enhance and maintain a world-class membership platform as well as set up digital ad campaigns, cross-platform integrations and automations, and ad-hoc technical support. As our Web Developer, you MUST have strong organizational, communication, and technology skills with a proactive, learning mindset.

So will you answer the call? Will you be a superhero for our nonprofit superheroes?


  • Support and build upon our Membership platform (built on WordPress)
    • Build new pages and features (member-facing and internal)
    • Set up custom forms that integrate with our backend systems
    • Track, enhance, and troubleshoot website functionality, performance and capacity
    • Maintain security and updates/patches
  • Implement digital marketing efforts
    • Develop landing and opt-in pages to support marketing funnels
    • Set up tracking, tagging, and reporting on the GA4 platform with Google Tag Manager
    • Implement email automations and digital ad campaigns
    • Track and report on campaign performance
  • General platform integration and ad-hoc internal tech support
  • Other duties as assigned

You Should Have Experience With:

  • WordPress (should be able to build a custom WordPress site, including theme and plugins, from scratch)
  • ActiveCampaign (or equivalent)
  • LeadPages (or equivalent)
  • Zapier (or equivalent)
  • Google Analytics
  • Facebook/Instagram Ad Platform/Pixel/Audience set up
  • Basic SEO knowledge
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms

Experience With Any Of These Would Be Helpful:

  • Google Tag Manager
  • Google Data Studio
  • Google Analytics 4
  • MemberPress
  • AirTable
  • Additional ad platforms (LinkedIn, Google, YouTube)
  • Advanced SEO knowledge
  • JavaScript
  • Evergreen Webinar Platform (i.e. Stealth Seminar, EverWebinar, etc.)
  • Funnelytics (or equivalent)
  • Wicked Reports
