Position Statement: The Community Standards Manager, under the supervision and in collaboration with the Community Standards Director, is responsible for understanding and implementing the AIPCA Rules and Regulations and ARB guidelines.
This is a hands-on position that requires the ability to interact with others in a professional and respectful manner and to be able to respond to situations that require clear communication and effective conflict resolution. CAM License required or must be obtained within the first (3) three months after hire date.
Responsibilities: Responsible for facilitating all covenants and upholding community standards.
Responsible for regular weekly inspections. (4 of 5 days weekly)
Works with the Community Standards Director in the planning and implementation of the Owner and Contractor Meet and Greets.
Represents AIPCA on residential matters where minor violations and infractions are present and need resolution.
Provides support to the Community Standards Director with any special requests, i.e., administrative work, mailings, etc.
Maintains the undeveloped/developed lot spreadsheet for budgetary purposes.
Resolves and follows up on complaints/issues with the Community Standards Director.
May be assigned other duties by the Community Standards Director.
Works with the Grounds and Facilities Director regarding common property.
Assists residents and outside contractors with questions and concerns.
Tracks ARB applications and processes to make sure packages are complete before ARB review – follow-up as required for ARB.
Maintains ARB files, mail, binders, and pertinent spreadsheets.
Creates and posts notices, including ARB meeting notices and agendas.
Prepare meeting packets.
Updates the website with all ARB related documents as needed and assists the Community Standards Director with facilitating all documentation relating to ARB meetings and website production. This shall include working on the biannual revisions to the AIPCA rules and Regulations, and the ARB guidelines.
Facilitates the setup and coordination of the ARB meetings with the ARB members, applicants, and staff.
Attends ARB meetings, records meeting minutes, and creates/posts notices, as needed.
Maintains ARB applications, databases, and historical files.
Issues ARB responses in accordance with ARB policies and guidelines.
May be assigned other duties by the Community Standards Director.
