Mount Aloysius College seeks a strategic and relationship-centered leader to serve as Vice President of Advancement & Engagement. Reporting directly to the President and serving on the President’s Executive Council, the Vice President will guide a comprehensive advancement strategy that strengthens philanthropic support, deepens alumni engagement, and advances the College’s long-term financial sustainability.
This is a moment of opportunity for a seasoned advancement leader who thrives in both strategy and execution. The Vice President will partner closely with the President and Board of Trustees to cultivate major philanthropic investment, strengthen donor and alumni relationships, and lead the institution’s next phase of fundraising growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy encompassing campaigns, major and principal gifts, annual giving, planned giving, corporate partnerships, and foundation and government grants.
- Serve as a frontline fundraiser managing a portfolio of major and principal gift prospects and partnering with the President and Trustees on leadership-level solicitations.
- Strengthen long-term relationships with alumni, donors, and community partners through strategic engagement, stewardship, and impact reporting.
- Guide and develop a high-performing advancement team while setting clear metrics, tracking results, and building a sustainable philanthropic pipeline.
- Collaborate across the institution to align communications, alumni engagement, and fundraising initiatives with Mount Aloysius’s strategic priorities.
Qualifications:
- Seven to 10 years of progressive leadership experience in advancement, preferably within higher education
- Demonstrated success personally securing six- and seven-figure major and principal gifts
- Experience leading or playing a key role in comprehensive fundraising campaigns
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams while managing strategy and execution
- Advanced degree preferred, along with experience at the Vice President, Associate Vice President, or comparable senior leadership level
