- Senior Managing Attorney - Eviction Prevention Unit
Description
Northwest Justice Project (NJP), a not-for-profit law firm with a mission of Combating Injustice - Strengthening Communities - Protecting Human Dignity, is Washington State’s largest civil legal aid provider. NJP has a new opportunity for a Senior Managing Attorney (SMA) in the Eviction Prevention Unit (EPU). This role is a critical part of NJP’s leadership team. The SMA leads and supervises our Eviction Prevention Unit across the state of Washington to protect the rights of low-income tenants across Washington State.
Successful applicants must have a minimum of five (5) years of legal experience with strong litigation skills required. This position ensures that appointed counsel tenant defense is represented in program-wide planning and policy discussions.

Salary range is $144,586 – $217,958 based on relevant experience plus comprehensive benefits package. The position may be located in many of NJP’s 20 office locations across the state where space permits. This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule if the criteria of NJP’s telecommuting policy are met. Travel throughout Washington State is required.
