The Foundation seeks a mid-level professional to join its Center for Economic Opportunity national grantmaking team, advancing programs and practices that expand economic opportunity for youth and young adults from low-income families. The program associate will help develop, assess, and advance the employment, education, and training portfolio to ensure young people gain the skills, credentials, and experiences needed for well-paying careers, including work related to industry partnerships and sector strategies.
Qualified candidates will have the following: (3-5 Must Have’s here)
- Experience using qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions, prepare reports, and make recommendations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently with attention to detail.
- Strong relationship-building and communications skills, including the ability to share complex ideas effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated interest and experience with workforce development, public benefits, education, financial products and services, human services or related focus areas, supported by a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (graduate degree preferred) and at least three years of experience in community-based, government, research, policy or advocacy organizations.
