- Membership Director (Fundraising Specialist)

c895 is looking for a fundraising rockstar to lead our membership department. The Fundraising Specialist is in charge of all donor-driven fundraising activities including donor acquisition and stewardship, producing on-air fundraising activities, writing and scheduling year-round fundraising messages. They also guide our non-traditional fundraising efforts including employer matching gifts, vehicle donations, gifts of stock, planned giving, and more.

Requirements
At least three years of experience in non-profit fundraising, public radio preferred
Working knowledge of technology and software, including
- database management (Allegiance)
- electronic communications (Mailchimp)
Highly self-motivated, with ability to manage multiple projects with specific deadlines
Excellent written communication and organizational skills
Strong leadership, interpersonal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work effectively with full-time staff, adult volunteers, and high school interns
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
Ability to work cooperatively in an open office environment with music

c89.5 has been Seattle’s Home for Dance for over 55 years, reaching a new generation of radio listeners with high-energy dance music. The station is owned by Seattle Public Schools and operated by professional staff with assistance from Nathan Hale High School digital media interns.
Our state-of-the-art facilities include two on-air studios, five production suites, a dedicated podcast studio, and a live performance studio. We work collaboratively in an open office environment at 10750 30th Ave NE in Seattle’s Meadowbrook neighborhood, near Northgate. The station is located walking distance from multiple public transit stops.
