Description
A nonprofit senior services organization is seeking a skilled Grant Writing Contractor to lead their efforts to secure grant funding from private, family and community grantors . This role focuses 90% on narrative-driven proposals and foundation applications. The ideal candidate has deep experience in the Southeast Pennsylvania philanthropic landscape and a passion for aging services.
Hybrid: Mostly off-site work is acceptable with in-person meetings two times a month (estimated)
Key Responsibilities
Grant Writing: Write and edit compelling proposals for community, private and family foundations.
Grant Management: Manage all application portals and ensure timely submissions.
Data Collection: Collaborate with program staff to gather impact stories and metrics.
Grant Research: Conduct targeted research for new private funding opportunities.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of successful grant writing for private foundations.
Regional Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Montgomery County and southeast PA funders.
Sector Expertise: Previous experience in Senior Services or Aging is highly preferred.
Writing Skills: Exceptional storytelling and narrative-building abilities.
Organizational Skills: Proficiency in managing multiple deadlines and online portals.
