Reports to: Operations Director
Job Summary: Provides support to Executive Staff. The Executive Assistant must be creative and enjoy working within an environment that is mission-driven, results-driven, and community oriented. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations and will possess good written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills. The ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities is imperative. The Executive Assistant must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
Culture and Mission: Assist in enhancing the lives of adults with Developmental Disabilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide support services to the Executive Staff ensuring outstanding communication and responsiveness
- Provide calendar management, prioritize inquires and requests, make judgements and recommendations to ensure smooth day-to-day engagements
- Support for with internal and external communications
- Conduct research and analysis
- Support and manage requests and projects to meet objectives
- Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations and reports
- Complete expense reports and manage correspondence with vendors
- Serve as a liaison to the Board of Directors
- Assist in the preparations of some regularly scheduled reports for Staff and Board of Directors
- Maintain quality filing and communications systems
- Support ED with Capital Campaign, Major Gift Donors, and Grant Donors and Funder relations and reports
- Maintain Board, Capital Campaign, Major Donor and Grant lists
- Assist in other administrative tasks as needed
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Passion for Wings mission and individuals with special needs
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like computers and printers
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, Presentation Software, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work and function independently
- Attention to detail and problem-solving/analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to be flexible and multi-task

- Ability to work some evenings and weekends as necessary
- Eager to work with and empower volunteers to increase Wings’ capacity
- Meet physical requirements to safely perform assigned duties
