Join Girl Scouts of Kentucky’s Wilderness Road (GSKWR), a people-first nonprofit organization supporting thousands of girls, families, and volunteers across 67 counties. We’re looking for a highly accountable, curious, and detail-oriented person to serve as our Executive Assistant & Employee Administrator—someone ready to bring order, positivity, and persistence to an active and mission-driven team.
Key responsibilities include:
Executive Support
- Manage the CEO’s calendar, travel, and meeting prep
- Track and follow up on action items from leadership and board meetings
- Support board communications and shared drives
- Draft correspondence and coordinate meeting logistics
HR & Staff Support
- Process expense reports and HR paperwork
- Support hiring, onboarding, and exit processes
- Coordinate benefits enrollment and changes with our vendor partners
- Submit updates related to pay, promotions, and status changes to our payroll administrator
- Maintain confidential personnel files and HR compliance records
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need 10 years of experience—but you do need to be focused, efficient, and proactive. This role is best suited to someone with:
- 2+ years of administrative, HR, or executive assistant experience
- High attention to detail and strong follow-through
- Comfort working with Microsoft Office, email/calendar tools, and cloud file systems
- A calm, resourceful presence—especially in fast-moving situations
- Strong communication and professional writing skills
- An interest in mission-driven nonprofit work
Schedule, Compensation & Work Environment
- Salary: $17-$19/hr, overtime eligible
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, on-site in Lexington, with occasional early mornings or evenings
