JOB SUMMARY:
The Director of Client & Community Services plays a key role in supporting the mission of West Fort Worth Center of Hope. This full-time leadership role provides both direct client support and program oversight, ensuring that services are delivered through a stabilization-focused, mental health and trauma-informed lens. This position manages client pathways from crisis relief to self-sufficiency, oversees case management, client documentation, referrals, and cultivates partnerships that address the root causes of instability and family crisis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Services & Case Management
- Provide direct, trauma-informed support to individuals and families experiencing housing instability and crisis.
- Oversee client pathways from intake and crisis relief through stabilization, goal-setting, and transition toward self-sufficiency.
- Ensure services are delivered using trauma-informed, strengths-based, and mental health-aware practices.
- Maintain high-quality case documentation, assessments, service plans, and progress notes in alignment with organizational and funder requirements.
Program Leadership & Coordination
- Provide leadership and oversight of client service delivery to ensure consistency, quality, and continuity of care.
- Recruit, onboard, and supervise bachelor’s-level and master ’s-level interns from a variety of colleges and universities.
- Develop, refine, and implement service workflows and protocols that support stabilization-focused outcomes.
- Monitor client outcomes and contribute to program evaluation and continuous improvement efforts.
- Support compliance with grant requirements related to client services and reporting.
Community Partnerships & Referrals
- Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with churches, nonprofits, mental health providers, schools, and community agencies.
- Coordinate referrals to external resources addressing mental health, housing, employment, education, and family stability.
- Represent West Fort Worth Center of Hope in community meetings and partnership initiatives related to client services.
Organizational Support & Leadership
- Serve as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to strategic planning and organizational growth.
- Provide supervision, guidance, or training support to client-facing staff or volunteers as applicable.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Director to ensure alignment between service delivery and organizational mission.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS: KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Passion for the mission and values of West Fort Worth Center of Hope and commitment to advancing the mission of restoration and stability for families in West Fort Worth.
- Master’s degree in a human services discipline, such as mental health, social work, education, or child and family development; clinical licensure a plus but not required.
- Experience in trauma-informed care, program coordination, case management, or related client services work.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams, supervising staff, or managing programs (5 years minimum preferred).
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills, particularly with church and community partners.
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
- Actively involved in a Christian church; personal life reflects strong Christian principles.
- Ability to listen, be empathetic, motivate, follow through, be tenacious, and be eager to seize challenges and resolve issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace required; familiarity with Canva and Constant Contact is a plus.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
