Description

• Maintain the donor database (Bloomerang CRM), including gift processing, data entry, acknowledgments, receipts, and reporting
• Generate and distribute personalized tax receipts and acknowledgment letters
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records, including contact information, giving history, communication preferences, and relationship notes. May include ad hoc data hygiene projects
• Generate standard and ad-hoc reports to support fundraising, stewardship, and leadership needs
• Maintain additional donor software (Bloomerang Fundraising, Double the Donation) as needed
• Support donor cultivation and stewardship through research and build profiles of prospective and current donors
• Act as the point of contact for and provide support and/or needed materials for donation drives and third party fundraisers
• Coordinate and personalize gift acknowledgement and thank-you processes for various donor groups to ensure prompt and meaningful donor recognition
• Assist in planning and executing donor appreciation and fundraising events, including logistics, coordination, day-off tasks, etc
• Special projects and other duties as assigned
• Role has the ability to evolve as the organization does

Requirements

Candidate Profile

• An understanding of, and belief in, the importance of food security for everyone
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience working in a nonprofit setting, especially in a fundraising role preferred
• Proven ability to work independently and in a collaborative, spirited team setting
• Expressed motivation to learn in a fast-paced and rapidly growing nonprofit environment
• Highly organized, detail oriented with ability to learn quickly and meet deadlines
• High proficiency of Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
• Preference given to candidates with online giving platforms & CRM experience
• Occasional evenings and weekends may be required
