Description

The Development Associate at Birch Rock Camp supports the camp’s fundraising strategies, donor stewardship, alumni support and overall advancement efforts. The role is primarily responsible for the operational and administrative function of the development program, ensuring accurate gift processing, timely donor communication, coordinating camp marketing initiatives and working with camp administration, trustees & volunteers to build robust advancement initiatives. The Development Associate works closely with the Community & Alumni Director to strengthen annual and long term fundraising goals and foster strong relationship building with Birch Rock supporters and volunteers.

Requirements

Provide general administrative support to Development including database management, record keeping, newsletters and preparation of materials
Assist with reports, summaries and documentation related to fundraising and donor activity with Development Committee, Campaign initiatives and other
Support development and administrative related projects as assigned

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Google Suite.  Able to adapt to camp’s CRM System - CampMinder

The role is hybrid: remote & in-person. Birch Rock will provide a company computer.  This is a 30-32 hour/per week position with a competitive salary based upon experience. Additional responsibilities with the camp community may be considered for full time employment.
