Requirements
Campaign Coordination & Execution
- Support the implementation of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (email, print, web, social media, crowdfunding, paid media, and events).
- Manage production timelines, data files, creative assets, approvals, and vendor deliverables to keep campaigns on schedule and aligned with team standards.
- Ensure campaign content and messaging are consistent with institutional brand guidelines and audience segmentation strategies.
- Review and proof campaign data and materials for clarity, accuracy, brand consistency, and grammatical correctness across print and digital formats.
- Apply moderate proficiency in core skills while continuously building expertise through practical application and peer feedback.
- Conduct project execution by building and testing campaigns and other assets, with guidance from more experienced team members as needed.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal Purdue for Life Foundation and university colleagues to understand campaign goals and gather necessary content and assets.
- Coordinate logistics and timelines with external vendors (e.g., designers, printers, mail houses) to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Maintain regular communication with the Director and stakeholders regarding project progress, changes, and expectations.
- Seek input from senior colleagues on unfamiliar or complex assignments to ensure alignment with campaign goals.
Data-Driven Strategy & Optimization
- Track and analyze campaign performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
- Contribute to A/B testing efforts, creative refinement, and post-campaign reporting.
- Assist in shaping campaign strategies by analyzing previous results, offering insights, and aligning tactics with audience behaviors and institutional priorities.
- Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts.
Process Management & Flexibility
- Maintain organized project documentation, including timelines, deliverables, approvals, and lessons learned.
- Help identify and implement improvements to processes, templates, and workflows to increase efficiency and cross-team collaboration.
- Demonstrate adaptability by adjusting to evolving priorities, timelines, and opportunities as campaign needs shift.
- Build knowledge and capability through practical experience, feedback, and a pro-active approach to learning.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Excellent verbal/written communication, organizational and personal computer skills, and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and managing concurrent projects.
- Sound judgment, initiative, and ability to collaborate effectively required.
- Exhibits strong follow-through and timely responsiveness to inquiries and requests.
Required Education, Experience and Benefits Summary
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Up to three years of related work experience.
- Project management, familiarity with multi-channel campaigns, stewardship, and/or marketing experience is preferred.
