Position Summary
Donna Klein Jewish Academy is seeking an Advancement Data & Operations Manager who will serve as the strategic and operational backbone of the school’s advancement program. This role leads all advancement data, analytics, reporting, gift administration, and prospect development functions, ensuring the highest standards of data integrity while transforming information into actionable insights that strengthen fundraising performance, donor engagement, enrollment growth, and long-term institutional sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Data & Systems Management
Serve as primary administrator of Blackbaud (Raiser’s Edge/NXT).
Maintain accurate biographical, household, and relationship data.
Establish and coordinate data standards across Development, Admissions, Marketing, and Community Engagement.
Oversee data integrations and conduct regular data audits.
Reporting & Analytics
Produce board reports, executive dashboards, and campaign performance reports.
Support forecasting, pipeline analysis, and gift officer portfolio metrics.
Generate targeted mailing and email lists.
Provide data insights to support leadership decision-making and strategic planning.
Gift Administration & Compliance
Process gifts, pledges, stock transfers, matching gifts, and gift acknowledgements accurately and in a timely manner.
Generate tax receipts and acknowledgments in accordance with IRS and CASE guidelines.
Ensure gifts are recorded in alignment with donor intent.
Reconcile advancement records with the Business Office.
Prospect Research & Portfolio Support
Conduct prospect research and wealth screening.
Support prospect identification, qualification, and portfolio management.
Track moves-management activity and fundraising performance.
Event & Platform Support
Provide backend systems support for all fundraising events. Manage online forms, event registration, and campaign tracking for all fundraising events.
Support post-event reporting and analytics.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in data analytics, nonprofit management, or a related field.
Experience with Blackbaud (Raiser’s Edge/NXT) and strong reporting skills.
Knowledge of CASE/NAIS best practices preferred.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and financial accuracy.
Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with multiple departments.
High level of discretion and professionalism.
